Scout of The Year

Steve Smith (Milwaukee Brewers) was voted co-Scout of the Year by the GSA in 2019. In addition to his work running the East Coast Pro team, Steve is a dedicated area scout with an eye for talent and an extensive history of discovering players throughout the Peach State. He is also perhaps the kindest man in Georgia.

Tim Osborne (San Francisco Giants) was voted co-Scout of the Year by the GSA in 2019. Through years of hard work, Tim has built an extensive network in Georgia, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a coach in the state who doesn’t know Tim. A kind, family man who will go anywhere in search of talent.

Coach of the Year

Andy Harlin (Blessed Trinity) was voted by the GSA as the 2019 High School Coach of the Year. Coach Harlin’s exceptional attention to detail, reliable communication, and dedication to the personal and baseball development of his players is unparalleled in the state of Georgia. Thank you to Coach Harlin for all of his hard work!
